          • Optical material models (BRDF) and importance sampling.
          • Complexity evaluation of rendering algoritms. Average-case complexity.
          • High-speed rendering, graphics algorithms and their hardware implementation.
          • Ray-tracing and its speed-up using coherence methods. Object coherence theorems, application of Voronoi diarams.
          • Terrain modeling. Voronoi diagrams in the reconstruction of surfaces from scattered points.
          • User interfaces and man-computer interaction. Development of formal methods to descibe the human interaction. Object oriented and functional modeling in human interaction. Display of non-geometric data (graphs, functions, processes). User interface class libraries.
