The small but functional mock-ups create an opportunity to implement complex algorithms effectively and risk-free, test them, and develop new algorithms. The models of the fichertechnik production system create this opportunity in the field of Industry 4.0. The task of the student(s) is to implement the connections of the model and one or more PLCs, to design the controls necessary for the operation of the individual components and to implement intelligent functions (reconfiguration of production, error detection, etc.).
