Leírás:
Industrial automation increasingly relies on modular, flexible robot cells. Our department possesses industrial robots to demonstrate the efficiency of such cells. This project addresses this challenge by enabling students to design and build a complete, safe, and operational robot cell that performs a meaningful industrial task. The emphasis is on safety, repeatability, reliability, and engineering practice, bridging the gap between theoretical robotics education and real industrial deployment. The cell may serve future teaching, research, and demonstration purposes.
This project focuses on the design, implementation, and validation of a fully functional robot cell using either an ABB or Borunte industrial robotic arm. The goal is to create a safe robotic workcell capable of performing a non‑trivial sorting or assembly task whose specification is part of the task. The student will develop the layout, safety concept, robot programs, and cell control logic.
